Expert Treatment & Therapies Utilized

Expert care provided to each individual in our first responders program

Each public safety officer who is admitted to this program is evaluated to determine the severity of the substance abuse or gambling problem and the underlying issues associated with the addiction. The public safety officer is then scheduled into the following treatment modalities, which are designed to address their unique issues:

  • Specialty groups cover a broad range of topics relevant to this special population.
  • Family therapy sessions can bring our patients and their friends and family members together so that healing can occur among our patients’ primary support networks.
  • Individual therapy sessions allow patients to talk about sensitive subjects within the confines of a therapeutic relationship.

For the duration of a person’s care, while engaged in this invaluable treatment program, only the most appropriate interventions will be recommended to be part of an individual’s treatment plan, and additional services may be offered if they will assist in bringing about the most favorable treatment outcomes. Similar to the other treatment tracks that we offer, the law enforcement track is meant to complement the world-class care that we supply so that all patients can reach their treatment goals.

Without question, one of the most stressful careers in the world is in the field of law enforcement and public safety. As a result of the stress that these individuals are under, they may turn to drugs and/or alcohol as a way to cope with all of the tragedy that they are forced to witness every day while just doing their jobs. When this occurs, it can be difficult to not only continue working as a servant of the community, but a person’s health, wellness, and personal life are all likely to be adversely impacted as well. What is important to know, however, is that treatment exists for these brave men and women when a recovered and sober life is desired.

To learn more about the law enforcement treatment program, or if you would like to get more information about the other life-changing services that we offer, feel free to call us today. We are happy to speak with you about the care we supply to public safety officers and we look forward to helping you determine if Keystone Treatment Center is the right place for you to begin your sober life.

Thank you Keystone!  You gave me the tools for a great life through the tools, including the 12 steps and my renewed Spirituality Program... Last Friday I received my 34 year chip. It was an awesome feeling to share that with all the people I love and have met along the way through my journey of recovery.
