Prospective patients take part in an initial screening and intake process, during which time a comprehensive evaluation takes place so that the most appropriate program can be recommended. As patients’ needs are identified, recommendations will also be provided regarding whether or not taking part in one or more of these specialized treatment tracks will be beneficial to the patients’ overall recovery process. Once these determinations have been made, individualized treatment plans are created and patients will begin engaging in the therapeutic process.

At Keystone Treatment Center, we utilize behavioral, cognitive, and interpersonal therapies. We believe that people can change their behaviors, change the way that they think about situations and behaviors, and that they can change the way that they interact with others. As a result, we have made it our objective to continually strive to provide treatment of the highest quality and integrity that successfully meets the needs of all of our patients. We strive to provide a broad spectrum of clinical interventions that are designed to assist patients in sustaining positive life choices. In order to do this, we make it our goal to assist patients in the following:

  • Breaking down barriers that resist recovery
  • Instilling a level of motivation and a desire for change that supports recovery
  • Recognizing the need for effective coping skills and practicing new behaviors
  • Learning successful ways of managing emotions
  • Recognizing the need for managing concurrent psychiatric and medical problems as appropriate
  • Making a commitment to ongoing support through multiple avenues

Thank you Keystone!  You gave me the tools for a great life through the tools, including the 12 steps and my renewed Spirituality Program... Last Friday I received my 34 year chip. It was an awesome feeling to share that with all the people I love and have met along the way through my journey of recovery.
